I found these great photos of a 1999 Mitsubishi Plant restored J8M1/Ki-200 Shusui. Can anyone tell me what color green was used on the top of their example:

It appears as if it might be an Imperial Army color which could very well make it an Army Ki-200, It would depend on the type of the 30 mm Cannons that where install into the wings, but I'm not sure?

I'm building a Giant Scale R/C Model of the J8M1/Ki-200 Shusui and I would like to match their paint scheme.

Can't help ya with the color other than what I found in Frank Tiano's color reference guide (which is AMA certified) that designates A-3 green but the chip is much darker than that color in the pictures. A FSM article by Harvey Low shows nearest FS-595b color match to an olive green as 34098. Hope that little bit helps?
Anyway, what I'd really like to know is how to get one of those cool T-shirts in picture #22!

I already checked the standard color chart and found that the Olive Green was the closest match, but as you indicated it is definately too dark. I sure would like to find a way to be able to contact the Museum directly myself. I would n like to ask them directly what color was used, and I would also like to buy a T-shirt too!

If anybody know's of a direct contact to the Museum please contact me a directly.
